FAQ

What is the #WednesdayMatchPlay?
The #WednesdayMatchPlay is a weekly video interview show presented by Eat Sleep Golf and hosted by Ricky Potts.  In 2018 we will be entering our 3rd season, where we'll continue to shine light on some of the most innovative brands and personalities from throughout the industry.  Our goal is to create a fun and engaging 30 minute conversation, where we can share a behind the scenes look into some of our industries great minds.

Where is the show broadcast and how many people will it reach?
#WednesdayMatchPlay episodes are pre-recorded and are then permanently indexed on YouTube in video format.  Audio only versions of the show are distributed via the Golf Radio Network on iTunes, Google Play, Soundcloud and Stitcher.

Episodes will then be shared through every major social platform, and through partner networks, websites and e-blasts to subscribers.

What platform do you use to record/broadcast the show?
We use Google Hangout to record the interview, all which can be done remotely, allowing us to conveniently include guests from around the world.  The Google Hangout session is created on our end, and guests will receive a link via email in order to join the broadcast.  We recommend opening the link in Google Chrome or in the Hangout App, for best performance and easy set up.

If you've never used Google Hangout before, we're happy to do a trial run in advance of your interview to ensure all audio/video settings are working properly.

How can I be a guest on the #WednesdayMatchPlay?
If you or someone in your network is interested in being a guest on the #WednesdayMatchPlay please contact Scott Stevens to further discuss the opportunity and availability.

Will questions be provided to me in advance of the show?
We do not provide questions in advance as we feel it creates a more genuine conversation as opposed to a strict question/answer format.  Each interview includes 18 questions broken down into the 'Front 9' and 'Back 9'.  The front nine are all related the the interviewee, their role in the golf industry and the brand they represent.  The back nine are more laid back, fun, golf related questions.

How long is the show?
We aim to have the show wrapped up in 30 minutes, however depending on the length of each questions/answer, some episodes have exceed that time frame.
